6 - 8 years old: 9:30 - 11:30 am
4 - 6 years old: 1:30 - 3:30 pm
Group leader: Behavioural Therapist, supervised by Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)
Course objectives:
Week 1: Social Skills – Building Strong Foundations for Relationships
Help your child thrive socially with essential skills that last a lifetime!
- Boosts confidence in group settings – Children learn how to interact, speak up, and make friends with ease.
- Develops sharing and cooperation – Vital for success in school and future group environments.
- Strengthens communication – Children learn how to start, maintain, and enjoy conversations.
- Encourages empathy and kindness – children discover how to treat others with care.
- Promotes following group rules – Prepares kids to succeed in group learning environments like classrooms.
- Fosters problem-solving skills – Resolving conflicts prepares children for leadership and independence.
Week 2: Attention – Focused Minds, Better Learning
(Includes Mindfulness)
Build the foundation for better learning, listening, and self-control — all while keeping things fun and engaging!
- Sharpens focus and attention span – Supports learning and task completion at school and at home.
- Improves active listening – Essential for following instructions and understanding lessons.
- Reduces impulsive behaviors – Children learn to pause, reflect, and choose better responses.
- Builds self-awareness and teaches calming techniques – A calm mind helps children feel more in control.
- Improves memory and retention – Kids learn how to stay engaged and remember key information.

Week 3: Emotions – Raising Emotionally Intelligent Kids
(Includes Mindfulness)
